The oil must have the correct composition so that the oil performs these tasks properly. The so-called base oil is the basic component of lubricating oil. Mineral oils, as well as specially processed oils, often called semi-synthetic, partially synthetic, synthetic oils or synthetic esethers are used as the base oil for engine oil production. The properties of the base oil are further improved by the addition of a suitable set of additives. With the use of the Tri Zone TechnologyTM the oil can provide lots of different functions.
